Originally from New Jersey home of the shore, Lori graduated from The University of Findlay
with an undergraduate degree in Business and Equine Studies as well as a Masters in Business Administration.
Formerly the Director of English Equestrian Studies at The University of Findlay where in a four year stay
the IHSA team accomplished the title of national champions and two reserve national championships, and finished
in the top five all four years. Most recently she had the opportunity to coach The Ohio State Hunt Seat team where
they finished first in their region and rallied to the finish at zones. |

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Heather is a graduate of The University of Findlay
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Equine Science and Biology as well as a Masters of Education degree. She comes
to Miami from The University of Findlay where she was an instructor and Assistant Coach of the 2004-2005 nationally
ranked IHSA team. |

Leslie graduated in 2000 from Morehead State University with a BS and a minor in Horsemanship.
A native of Eaton, Ohio, Leslie grew up showing in AQHA events. She showed both Hunt Seat and Western divisions in
IHSA. She currently is involved with Preble County 4-H and has numerous students and horses in training. Leslie has
taught multiple clinics and camps. Leslie currently resides in Eaton with her husband. |

Beth graduated from Miami with a BA in 1993. While at Miami she rode on both the Hunt Seat
and Western teams and was the Western team captain. After graduation she coached the Western team and managed the
stable office for two years. Upon leaving Miami she worked for Tincher’s Quarter Horses and showed in AQHA and
NSBA Hunter Under Saddle and Western events. Her accomplishments include multiple Register of Merits, Futurity
Championships, and Congress Top Ten placings. She also managed and operated a boarding and training stable in the
Oxford area for seven years. Beth is married to Tony and lives just outside of Oxford. She has a two year old son,
Curtis, and two stepsons, Nick and Jake. |

Katie is a senior marketing major from Chicago, IL. She has been part of MUET since she was
a freshman and has been riding hunter/jumpers for 16 years. As president Katie is the liaison between club sports
and MUET. She works with the University, coaches, and team members to make the team run effectively and smoothly.
When she's not at the Miami barn, one can almost guarantee she's with her own horse. |

Kate Sickles consides herself to be a Floridian and an Ohioan because she lived in Florida for 7
years but her family just recently moved up to Perrysburg, OH. She is a Senior Speech Pathology major and has been
riding for 14 years and is on the Intermediate English team. Riding with the Miami Equestrian Team has made her time
at Miami an amazing and unforgettable experience! |

Brittany Lambert is a junior accounting major from Marysville, Ohio.
She has been riding for 14 years and prior to competing with Miami she actively showed on the
quarter horse circuit. "Competing with the Miami Equestrian Team has been one of the best

Sarah Willoughby is a junior Special Education major from Birmingham, Michigan. She has been
on the Open Hunt Seat team since her freshman year at Miami and has been riding hunter/jumper for the past 13 years.
As secretary of MUET, Sarah is responsible for taking attendence, keeping record and minutes from our meetings,
planning our formal and banquet, as well as other team get togethers. Sarah feels that being involved in the Miami
Equestrian Team is one of the smartest things she's done in college thus far! |

Greg Cush is a senior Management Information Systems major from Canton, Ohio. He has been a
member of the team for four years and currently competes on both the English and Western teams. Greg is the teams
treasurer and handles all the finances between the University and the team. Greg has been riding horses for the past
ten years and enjoys showing his Belgians when not showing with Miami. |

Hailey Foust has been riding since she was 5 years old. Hailey is now a
Senior Accounting major from Columbus, Ohio and the Book Keeper for the club. This is her third
year on the team and she is an open division western rider. |

Sloane Schottenheimer is from Birmingham, Michigan. She is a junior Early Childhood
Education major and has been riding hunter/jumper for the past 14 years. Sloane is the travel director for
MUET and plans all of our away show travel. She feels that the team has been a wonderful experience and has
enriched her time at Miami University. |

Leslie Coen is a Sophmore here at Miami and rides in the open horsemanship and reining divisions
for the Western team and is also involved in the Judging team. Leslie takes care of the teams listserv and website as
